The Kerala Water Authority's Quality Division has nearly 82 laboratories throughout the state where anybody can check the quality of water samples by submitting a sample, making payment and collecting the laboratory result. This online facility shortens the time consumption and ensures transparency of the process.
How to submit your water sample
1. Acquire the sterilised container from the nearby Laboratory or from medical store.
2. Wash the container with the same water which is to be submitted as sample.
3. Run the water several minutes to clear the line.
4. Take the sample midstream.
5. Do not touch the sides of the collection bottle, the opening or inside of the cap.
6. Submit the sample within 48 hours of collection.
7. Based upon the test selected by the consumer the test sample will be retained for a period of 1 week also.
